As the transit expert Raivo Vare considers, the visit of Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Estonia is a significant step within the relations development between the two states and it will positively influence the economy of our country.
“We should take into account that Kazakhstan is the county of eastern type, where the so-called “hand cue” is extremely important for changes”; that is why the visit of the President, who is called “dad” in his motherland, will give a new serious impulse for the development of economic relations between our states", — said Vare to rus.ERR.ee.
Except for that, as Vare thinks, this visit can be evaluated also as a claim for pro-European development of Kazakhstan, moreover that the strategic development program of this middle-Asian state includes one of the goals – to get out of the enclosed area of Asia to Europe.
“Kazakhstan, as a regional leader, where about 50 mln people live, maintains almost the total cargo traffic flowing to Middle Asia, — added Vare. — And all these cargos are transported in containers, which allows native transit sector to take their niche within this logistic network, and this in turn will give the new impulse for our economy promotion ".
Russia, bordering Estonia as well as Kazakhstan, according to Vare, will not impede the way of transit cargos, considering that it images itself as a transiting state and is highly interested in new cargo flows.
