Ansip: Kazakhstan is the Closest Partner of Estonia in Central Asia

The Prime Minister Andrus Ansip noted that Kazakhstan is the closest partner of Estonia in Central Asia.

Today Astana has welcomed the opening of Kazakhstani-Estonian business-forum with the participation of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov and the Head of Estonia Andrus Ansip, reports zakon.kz portal.

«The scopes of commodities turnover in our countries during last three years have doubled. I hope that in future our cooperation shall develop the same intensively », — noted the Head of Estonian government.

Except for that, Andrus Ansip spoke about leading Estonian enterprises, introducing «green» technologies, and called the businessmen of the two countries to strengthen and extend trade-economic cooperation.

At the moment Kazakhstan comprises 54 Kazakhstani-Estonian companies, functioning in the spheres of trade, finances and construction.

At the opening of the business-forum the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan underlined the need to maintain long-term cooperation.

«Lately Kazakhstan and Estonia has cooperated pretty dynamically and fruitfully. At the moment we have established political dialogue at the top level, bilateral cooperation is being enhanced, a firm legal base has been created, which is the foundation for a long-term partnership », — said Karim Masimov
