The beautiful Neo-Renaissance building of the Military Club in Sofia, situated at the cross point of Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard and Georgi Rakovski Str. Started in 1895 and completed in 1907. The design of the structure was created by the Czech architect Antonín Kolář. In the foundation of the Military Club were laid down a stone from the victorious battlefield at Slivnitsa, where the Bulgarian army won a glorious victory against the Serbian forcess who attacked the country without a notice (1885-1886).
