Taken for 25 book challenge. I have caught a bug, travel bug. symptoms include restlessness and daydreaming. I keep reading travel books and have regressed to lonely planet guides of places I will never go.

The naked man festival (Brian Thacker) Is a decent read- I did get fed up of his constant use of brackets (its catching as I now need to include brackets in all my writing). the lucky SOB traveled around the world to festivals getting very drunk and having a blast. I could have done that! My fav festival was Hogmanay in scotland. None of the festivals that are on my personal must do list were visited but it was interesting and informative.

One of my other recent reads was Flightless. A collection of short travel stories put together by lonely planet. all the authors had completed journeys, some short, some long but all without flying. Travel by tuk-tuk, hitching, cycling walking. jealous of them all! great collection to pick through.
