Renewable energy sources: toward energy security?

All countries should give high priority to the development of renewable energy sources (RES) and their effective use.  Alternative energy is one of the ways to establish new jobs, develop „green“ economy and reduce  greenhouse gas emissions. Lithuania should also focus on the development of RES and increase energy independence since it is still highly dependent on Russia. Effective use of RES could increase reliable energy supplies and comply with the environmental requirements of the EU.  READ MORE

The Platform for Full Cooperation

Developing countries intend to suggest the world community a new format of response towards global challenges. In the end of June 2013 Kazakhstan, which has launched an interactive platform G-Global, intends to sound the recommendations for the leaders of the Great 20. Will Germany proceed to hold Europe on its shoulders?

At the beginning of April German Chancellor Angela Merkel spent her vacation in the island close to Naples. She was visited by the Campania region governor Stefano Caldoro who afterwards posted a video on his website where he urged her to look at the difficult areas including youth unemployment rates 10 times those of Germany.
